Greenlaw also noted that he was motivated by "the disrespect," calling out Payton for not calling him to inform him about his release:
Kyle Juszczyk’s knee sprain and Nick Bosa’s calf strain keep them out of the undefeated 49ers’ visit Sunday to defending Super Bowl champion Seattle.
Christian McCaffrey is in his 11th season in the NFL but he had never played the Broncos, his hometown team and the franchise where his dad, former 49ers receiver Ed, won a pair of Super Bowls.
The San Francisco 49ers are 4-0 after an impressive win over Denver, but these five potential overreactions are gaining steam through Week 4.
SANTA CLARA – Here is how the 49ers (4-0) graded in Sunday’s 24-14 win over the Denver Broncos (2-2) at Levi’s Stadium: PASS OFFENSE: B Brock Purdy dazzled down the stretch, completing all but one of his final 10 passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns and still without a sack all season.
